• Density Bonus Program Guidelines to assist in applying density bonus requirements to new residential development.
• Mountain View Green Building Code applies to specific remodels, additions and new construction of residential, commercial and industrial projects. The City utilizes CalGreen from the California Building Code (CBC) and third-party rating systems, including LEED™ and GreenPointRated, as the standard for green building.
• Tenant Relocation Compliance Plan Worksheet applies to all projects that remove existing housing units from the rental market, whether the project includes residential or nonresidential uses. The City has also developed TRAO Administrative Guidelines to provide an overview of key provisions in the City's Tenant Relocation requirements and State Law (Senate Bill 330) that may apply to certain development projects.
• Transportation Information Worksheet applies to all projects with new construction or expanded business operations to determine if further transportation analysis is required. All transportation analysis prepared in the City must comply with the City's Multimodal Transportation Analysis Handbook (MTA Handbook).
• Trash and Recycling standards and information for residential, commercial, and industrial land uses.
• Tree Technical Manual for assessing, removing, preserving, and planting existing and new trees citywide.
• Street Tree Form and List applies to development projects planting new City street trees. Please note, the City has an updated list of street trees required within the North Bayshore Precise Plan area.
• Water Conservation in Landscape Regulations applies to new and modified landscaping proposed as part of new construction or site improvements for residential, commercial and industrial properties.
