On June 30, 2020, Council approved Sares Regis' application requesting a General Plan Map Amendment from General Industrial to Mixed-Used Center Land Use Designation, a Zoning Map Amendment from ML (Limited Industrial) and MM (General Industrial) Districts to a P (Planned Community) District, and a Planned Community Permit, Development Review Permit, and Heritage Tree Removal Permit on a 7.81-acre site to construct:

  • A new, 7-story residential structure with approximately 3,000 square feet of ground-floor retail, two levels of podium parking, and 203 apartment units (Block A);
  • A new, 7-story residential structure with two levels of podium parking and 100 condominium units (Block B);
  • A new 6-level office parking garage adjacent to the existing 4-story office building to remain (Block B); and
  • Removal of 23 Heritage trees.

The project is located on the northeast corner of North Shoreline Boulevard and Terra Bella Avenue in the ML (Limited Industrial) and MM (General Industrial) districts (see Staff Report and Materials).

The project construction is anticipated to be completed by 2026.
